Job Description
Center Point Energy is looking for a Senior Key Account Manager, to join our Team, located in Indianapolis, IN (Surrounding Cities).
You will have the ability to contribute to the achievement of revenue/margin growth goals through management of opportunities created by providing guidance and support for business clients within assigned area of responsibility. This position will also be a single point of contact for Vectren's customer base.

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Serves as the single point of contact for customer accounts in assigned geographical region.
  • Coordinates activities related to providing energy service.
  • Assists in the development of proposals and the negotiation of contracts.
  • Reviews and confirms accurate customer billing information.
  • Serves as back-up point of contact for economic development contacts in assigned geographic region.
  • Serves as primary contact for assigned community development contacts.
  • Contributes to achievement of throughput and margin goals established by Vectren.
  • Creates and maintains customer profiles and project related data including identification of key decision makers, staff personnel and company history.
  • Assists in the development of strategic business and sales plans identifying and communicating customer needs to ensure load retention and expansion.
  • Communicates with Sales Manager and Director of Sales account growth and new business opportunities.
  • Contributes to achievement of Vectren conservation goals.
  • Coordinates referrals/meetings for the Company’s affiliates
Your background includes:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in sales, marketing or engineering
A bonus to have:
